Autumn time is beautiful here in Germany, with all of it's colorful trees and hills. This beautiful view is of Idar-Oberstein. A small city with a mountain that has a church built right into the rock called the Felsenkirche and a castle atop of it. From this church is where I photographed this sight of the city. The clock tower on the left houses the bells the ring in the hour.

This photo entitled "Autumn Leaves at Marksburg" is from my trip and tour of Marksburg castle. This castle is a picturesque German castle sitting above the Rhine river, which you can see in the background. From my understanding the castle is the only castle along the Rhine river that wasn't destroyed. It has over 700 years of history. I would definitely recommend a visit.
