This year I have several goals in mind for my photography and my business. One of those goals for this year is doing a 52 week photography challenge. Encouraged by a local group of photographers who are doing this year long challenge, I decided this would be a great idea to push myself to be more creative this year. So every week in 2015 I will be doing a new photo and posting it to the world. I will be sharing them on my facebook page and other social media. I will be also creating a page with these images on my website and I am sure more posts about it. So here is my week 1 photo:
Entitled “Peace Out Geppetto”, my first week photo is inspired by a Pinocchio puppet I bought in Venice, Italy. My thoughts were, maybe even puppets like to leave the stage. Here he is taking off. Below I included a couple of more photos from this shoot.
“Taking a Turn” is Pinocchio enjoying the lime light and “Leaving the Spotlight” is him signing off, ending all performances.
I hope that everyone can find their creativity this year and keeping it going all year. Having a deadline in mind can be encouraging in these endeavors. I will be keeping mine this year.
